Dell Ranks Number One in New Corporate Sustainability Index Benchmark Report
Congratulations to Dell for its first place finish in the Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) Benchmark Report for 2009, an analysis completed by Technology Business Research (TBR).
The report measured more than 100 discrete sustainability factors (such as emissions, energy, renewable energy, annualized emission reductions, water use, recycling rates, and public environmental commitments) of 40 companies in the computer hardware, software, professional services and network and telecommunications sectors. Dell finished well ahead of the pack, scoring particularly well in renewable energy use, recycling and its integration of a sustainability strategy in its business.
